On a whim I ended up booking a Rest and Renewal Body Treatment session at Woodhouse Day Spa in Montclair, NJ. Originally, I was just supposed to pop in and see if they had any openings for a bikini wax but I got there early and started browsing their website from the car. I noticed they had specials and deals and that day it was 20% off body treatments, I had a particularly bad night at work and it just felt like was meant to be.
The Rest and Renewal Spa Treatment started with a total body scrub. I thought my legs would be on FIYAH since I had recently shaved my legs but luckily they were okay. After the rub down, I was left alone to hop into the beautiful bath tub in the room and rinse away all the traces of the scrub. After I was done, I received an amazing massage that put me right to sleep. All in all, the treatment was completely relaxing, but I have to say I’ve had better results from a body scrub before. This was more of a gentle massage type scrub but completely relaxing none the less.
