Oh Honey

So many different hair divas I know, love honey. They add it into their conditioners, use it with their pre-poo's and are always looking for new products featuring honey. Why? Honey has been known to add shine and moisture to hair. For those who aren't regular mixologists, Nick Chavez Beverly Hills has created a product line featuring honey.

Ultra Shine Honey Peppermint Shampoo: combines the benefits of honey and peppermint for a rich, deep nourishing formula that gives your hair healthy, long lasting shine and luster. Will freshen your scalp and leave your hair bright, full and bouncy.

Ultra Shine Honey Peppermint Conditioner: will help moisturize and replenish dry or damaged hair from chemical processing or environmental damage. This unique formula penetrates every strand to restore condition and shine, leaving hair renewed and healthy.

Nick Chavez Beverly Hills Honey Glaze Styling Gel: this one-of-a-kind hair care product provides hold, body and tremendous shine, with no flakes while resisting humidity. Infused with natural honey for a deep, rich, long-lasting shine, this product will enhance the style and luster of any type of hair.

Babyliss Portofino 6600 Review

(BabylissPro Nano Titanium Portofino 6600 Hair Dryer, $129.99 Folica.com)

For those of you lovely ladies who are on the market for a great blowdryer for the upcoming cooler weather, the Babyliss Portofino 6600 is a great option. This dryer features 6 different settings, yes SIX! This dryer was made in Italy using a long life AC motor. The dryer only seems pricey at $129.99, but once you factor in the six different speeds, 3 concentrators, a diffuser, and the fact that it has a removable stainless steel filter it's worth every penny. Since the filter is removable you can take it out, clean it or replace it if need be both options extending the life of your dryer. Not to mention, the ionic generator with nano titanium grill provides high concentration of negative items to condition hair and leave hair shiny. My hair loves this dryer and I bet yours will too!

Quick Update: August 2010

Just a quick announcement that for the month of August, I'll be taking a mini break from blogging here at The Anti Hair Slave. I've been writing and updating for going on 3 years now and I need a quick break to refresh and gather my thoughts. Plus, the computer I have is 5 years old so it's a bit of dinosaur and it's been giving me lots of problems lately. I won't be totally M.I.A. though so if there's a question you need answered or something I'll be over on Twitter, follow me @antihairslave and see what I'm up to, working on for September, and/or just to chat!

I'll be back in September with giveaways, new content, and of course hair updates! I hope you stick around, especially since I'll be going way back and posting some content that you may have missed from back in the days when I first started blogging!
